I’m not really the type of person who can sit still and do nothing to relax. I can lie at the beach for maybe an hour if I’m lucky, then I get bored. Luckily I have a husband like me, we both like doing stuff with our hand and process wood. At my parents summer house, my dad had all the tools one needs to play around. Jakob project this summer was to build bows and arrows. Mine, (besides painting) was to play with plywood. By cutting narrow strips and the gluing them sideways together I made some cutting boards. I love the patten the striped plywood give and my aim was to experiment on how the material will react. One day, hopefully, if I find the proper equipment (presstools) I can make a whole table this way.
